Ive tested with Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020 - they work great. The adapters were made by myself, and are specific to the Sidewinder Force Feedback. But at some point over the years, the gameport interface that the device uses just wasn't an option anymore.sigh. Microsoft SideWinder Plug & Play Game Pad Simple joystick support on 3D Pro, Precision Pro, Precision Pro Plus, and Wheel. Im selling two Sidewinder Force Feedback joysticks with USB adapter for £50 each.

Good shit!It is still in the original box with everything in mint condition. I own a MS Sidewinder Force Feedback Pro (gameport) and I seem to. I got the Microsoft Sidewinder Joystick, similar to the one in the youtube video linked in the previous post, but my Sidewinder Joystick is the Force Feedback version, where it'd vibrate when getting damaged or collisions, firing weapons or thrusters, etc. Yes, I don't remember the details, but gameport or serial devices used through a USB adapter use a legacy thing that has been dropped for Windows 7 and often don't work or have very limited compatibility depending on the device. From what I've read around the internet the Microsoft Sidewinder Precision Pro is one of those devices that doesn't work well with adapters, which is doubly unfortunate as the so-called 'USB version' of this stick sold by Microsoft was essentially the old serial/gameport version bundled with an adapter instead of being rewired for USB.
